9) Woodward Regional Park
Woodward Regional Park is the beauty of Fresno, California. It is almost 6 miles away from Oakdale, California. Park covers the area of 6,667 acres totally in which 3,767 acres is land and 2,900 acres is reservoir. Woodward Regional Park provides facility of camping, picnic area, barbeques and restrooms. There are many recreation openings for visitors like swimming, boating, camping, fishing and water skiing. Tower Theatre is the finest theatre of the California especially renovated for performing arts. It has charismatic interior and exterior. Theatre was opened for public in 1939 and then reopened in 1990 after being closed in 1989 for renovation purpose. Theatre occupies area of 1900 m2 and its architectural style is Streamline Moderne. Building has 24m concrete tower with neon lights which adds the beauty to the Theatre. Theatre is famous for its modern architectural style, contiguous lobby and lavish seating. 7) Millerton Lake
Millerton Lake is a reservoir which serves Fresno County and Madera County. It is 24 km away from downtown Fresno. The surface area of the lake is 4,900 acres and the max depth of the lake is 319 feet. There are many facilities of the Millerton Lake; firstly it controls the floods as it is also a dam. Secondly it is a source of recreation for families and tourists. They can enjoy swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing. There is also wildlife in the Lake including mule deer, ground squirrels, badgers and golden and bald eagles.

The old name of the zoo was Roeding Park Zoo. There are 190 species in the zoo. Fresno Chaffee Zoo welcomed 964,091 guests until 2016. Zoo has variety of mammals, birds, herbs, fish and horticulture. 5) Saint John the Baptist Cathedral (Fresno, California)
Saint John the Baptist Cathedral, Fresno, California was founded in 1882 and was completed in 1903. It is located in Mariposa St. Fresno, California. It was designed by Thomas Birmingham. The architectural style of the Cathedral is Gothic Revival. In 1882, there was a brick structure of the Cathedral, then it was demolished and new building was constructed. The mission of the Saint John the Baptist Cathedral is to spread love among all the religion and to serve the humanity. It welcomes thousands of visitors every year.
4) Chukchansi Park
Chukchansi Park is one of the best and known stadiums in Triple-A baseball. The old name of the stadium was Grizzles Stadium. It has the capacity of 12,500 seats with 33 Executive suits. The size of left field is 324 feet, center field is 402 feet and right field is 335 feet. Chukchansi Park host not only baseball games but also soccer games. Its splendid view of Downtown horizon attracts the visitors. Chukchansi Park is also used for many other events like weddings, concerts, community events and for graduation parties.

Masjid Fresno Islamic Center was founded in 1979 and completed in 1989 through donations of all the Muslim Community of the world. Many non-Muslims became Muslims in Masjid Fresno Islamic Centre. Daawa program of the Masjid is one of the successful programs. Masjid provides many services to the Muslim community of the Fresno including Khatirahs, Potluck Breakfast, Arabic and New Muslim Program, Feed the hungry, Marriage Program, Islamic Will and Testament, Saturday School and Quran classes for kids and adults. Masjid Fresno Islamic Center is taking many steps to serve not only Muslim Community but also the humanity.
2) River Park, Fresno, California
River Park is one of the best shopping center of Fresno, California located in Blackstone Avenue. It was opened in 1996. River Park is the center of attention for the visitors of California as it is divided into three parts; The Market Place, The Shops at River Park and REI. River Park is 1 floor outdoor shopping center with more than 75 shops. It is managed by Lance-Kashian and company. River Park is not only a shopping center but also provides very good food.
1) The Big Fresno Fairground
The Big Fresno Fairground was founded in 1884 and held Big Fresno Fair every October for two weeks. It exhibits live horse racing, musical shows, livestock shows, educational programs and many more. Interim Events and weekly satellite and Big Fresno Fair are the main source of income for The Big Fresno Fairground. Agriculture Building, Livestock Pavilion, Paul Paul Theatre, Commerce Building, The Greenhouse, Turf Club, Fine Arts and Photography Building, Junior Exhibit Building, Gem and Mineral Building and Table Mountain Rancheria Park are the major buildings of The Big Fresno Fairground.
